KEN AGYAPONG’S UNITY TOUR AN UNIMAGINABLE SUCCESS – WN SPOKESPERSON

Amstrong Richard, Western North Regional Spokesperson for Ken 2028, has described the NPP 2028 flagbearer hopeful’s three-day unity tour of the region as an “unimaginable success,” saying it has revived the spirit of the grassroots and strengthened the party’s base.

According to him, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a former lawmaker and 2028 flagbearer hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), toured all nine constituencies in the Western North Region, where he was warmly received by delegates and supporters.

Richard stated that in every constituency visited, the grassroots and delegates called on Mr. Agyapong to come forward and lead the NPP, as they believe he is the only aspirant capable of creating employment opportunities for the youth and addressing the unemployment challenges facing the country.

He recounted how, in one constituency, Kennedy Agyapong visited a bedridden party faithful who had been paralyzed for years. Moved by his condition, Mr. Agyapong donated GHC15,000 instantly and followed it up with an additional GHC20,000 to support his upkeep.

Similar gestures, Richard said, were repeated across other constituencies, where Mr. Agyapong spent millions of cedis on the welfare of struggling party supporters. This, he added, demonstrated the NPP 2028 flagbearer hopeful’s commitment to addressing the needs of party faithful and solving the challenges confronting the party.

The spokesperson further noted that everywhere the campaign team went, there was always an emerging issue awaiting Kennedy Agyapong’s attention. Despite the heavy demands, he attended to all concerns, demonstrating his dedication to the people and their welfare.

The tour attracted massive crowds across the region, where thousands of party faithful defied the sun and rain to welcome Mr. Agyapong. Richard said the number of people they were expecting went beyond them, and that the turnout shows the grassroots and delegates are willing and ready to support Ken for 2028.

He further explained that a major highlight of the tour was Mr. Agyapong’s consistent message of unity. Branded as the “Unifier,” he urged delegates to avoid divisions and internal wrangling, stressing that the party could only win power in 2028 if it remained united and disciplined.

Richard added that Mr. Agyapong called on the delegates to support and vote for him during the party’s primaries in 2026, so that he can lead the NPP to the “promised land.” “Our party has been weakened by internal divisions, but Ken has come with a refreshing message that binds us together. That is why the grassroots are rallying behind him,” he said.

With the momentum gathered from the unity tour, Amstrong Richard expressed confidence that the success would soon spread to other regions, positioning the outspoken NPP flagbearer hopeful for the 2026 primaries and subsequently for the 2028 general elections.
