Hon. Frank Nelson Ackah, the National GAAM President and Assembly Member for the Asawinso A Electoral Area in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency ahead of the party’s upcoming internal elections.
Announcing his decision, Mr. Ackah said his ambition is motivated by a strong desire to serve the youth of the constituency through dedicated leadership, unity, and empowerment. He stressed that leadership is about selfless service, accessibility, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of party members.
According to him, his years of active service within the NDC, coupled with his experience in local governance and national youth leadership, have equipped him with the knowledge and capacity to effectively lead the party’s youth wing in the constituency.
Mr. Ackah noted that he has consistently remained close to the grassroots, describing himself as a leader who believes in listening to the concerns of party members and working collaboratively to address their needs. He pledged to maintain an open-door policy if elected.
He identified youth empowerment as the cornerstone of his vision, promising to champion initiatives that will create employment opportunities, promote skills development, strengthen political education, and encourage greater participation of young people in the affairs of the party.
The aspiring Youth Organizer further pledged to foster unity among the youth across the constituency, stating that a united and motivated youth front is essential to strengthening the NDC and securing electoral victories in future elections.
Running on the theme, “Youth Development and Empowerment,” Mr. Ackah said his leadership will focus on building a vibrant youth structure that will empower members, promote inclusiveness, and deepen grassroots mobilisation throughout the constituency.
He appealed to delegates and party members to support his candidature, assuring them of transparent, accountable, and people-centred leadership. He pledged to work tirelessly to advance the interests of the youth and contribute to the growth of the party.
Mr. Ackah also called for peaceful, issue-based internal elections, urging party members to remain united before and after the polls. He expressed confidence that, with the support of delegates, the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency would continue to strengthen its youth base and contribute significantly to the NDC’s success in future elections.
