WESTERN NORTH REGION, Ghana — Hon. Ackah Nelson Frank, President of the Ghana Association of Assembly Members (GAAM) and aspiring Deputy Western North Regional Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has extended his best wishes to all aspirants contesting the party’s upcoming elections across the nine constituencies in the Western North Region.

Ahead of the weekend polls, Hon. Ackah Nelson Frank has urged all aspirants, delegates and supporters to prioritise peace, unity and mutual respect throughout the electoral process, stressing that the elections should strengthen the party’s internal democracy rather than create divisions among members.

He has encouraged all contestants to conduct their campaigns with maturity and decorum, reminding them that the collective interest of the NDC must remain paramount regardless of individual ambitions.

According to him, the constituency elections present an important opportunity for the party to strengthen its grassroots structures and elect dedicated officers capable of advancing its organisational development across the Western North Region.

He has also appealed to delegates in the nine constituencies to exercise their voting rights peacefully and responsibly, choosing candidates based on their competence, experience, dedication and commitment to the party’s growth.

Hon. Ackah Nelson Frank emphasised that the elections should be guided by the desire to build a stronger and more united NDC, with particular attention to effective communication, grassroots mobilisation and organisational development.

He further urged aspirants and their supporters to avoid inflammatory statements, personal attacks and actions that could undermine the credibility of the electoral process.

The GAAM National President also encouraged all contestants to accept the election results in good faith, stressing that party members must be willing to work together after the polls, irrespective of who emerges victorious.

He expressed optimism that the elections across the nine constituencies would be conducted in an atmosphere of peace, fairness and transparency, with delegates and party officials demonstrating the political maturity needed to protect the party’s unity.

Hon. Ackah Nelson Frank wished all aspirants success and called on party members to put aside personal differences and focus on their shared commitment to the NDC’s growth and development.

He maintained that peaceful elections and responsible participation would help preserve the spirit of comradeship among party members and create an environment in which elected officers could work effectively for the benefit of the party.

He urged NDC supporters throughout the Western North Region to remain calm before, during and after the elections, emphasising the importance of resolving disagreements through dialogue and respecting the democratic choices of delegates.

Hon. Ackah Nelson Frank reiterated his call for peaceful participation, responsible voting and acceptance of the results, wishing all aspirants the very best as they prepare for the constituency elections this weekend.
