PROPHET ADOM KYEI IMPOSTOR BUSTED IN CÔTE D’IVOIRE! ● MAN ARRESTED FOR POSING AS BWC PRESIDENT

A man identified as Mr. Blue, reportedly a member of the church, has allegedly been arrested in Côte d’Ivoire for impersonating Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei Dua and unlawfully presenting himself as the President of Believers Worship Centre (BWC), a movement founded and led by Prophet Adom Kyei Dua.

According to the Founder and Leader of BWC, Mr. Blue allegedly went as far as secretly registering himself in Abidjan as the President of BWC without the knowledge or authorisation of Prophet Adom Kyei Dua or the leadership of the movement.

The alleged impersonation reportedly became more serious when Mr. Blue was said to have presented himself as the authorised leader or representative of BWC in Côte d’Ivoire and allegedly instructed branches of the movement in the country to submit monies collected by the branches to him.

Prophet Adom Kyei Dua said the alleged actions raised serious concerns among the authorities of BWC in Abidjan, particularly because the suspect was allegedly using the name and authority of the Prophet to project himself as a legitimate leader of the movement.

Mr. Blue is also alleged to have engaged in similar conduct on previous occasions, with claims that he was fond of presenting himself as an authorised representative or leader despite allegedly lacking the mandate to do so.

The situation reportedly came to the attention of Prophet Adom Kyei Dua, who contacted the Inspector-General of Police in Côte d’Ivoire and requested that the authorities issue a disclaimer clarifying that Mr. Blue had no authority to represent him or act as President of BWC.

Following the intervention and subsequent actions of the Ivorian authorities, Mr. Blue was reportedly arrested. The alertness and swift response of the Côte d’Ivoire authorities are said to have played a major role in bringing the alleged impersonation to the attention of law enforcement.

In the wake of the incident, Prophet Adom Kyei Dua has reportedly directed the closure of BWC movement branches in Côte d’Ivoire and urged members in the country to stop attending the affected movement centres until further notice.

The development has also prompted renewed warnings to members of the public to be cautious of individuals who use the names of prominent religious leaders or organisations to solicit money, issue instructions or conduct activities without proper authorisation. Members of BWC have been urged to verify any unusual instruction through recognised leadership channels.

Prophet Adom Kyei Dua has further warned individuals who engage in impersonation and fraudulent representation to desist from such activities, stressing that perpetrators could face serious consequences. He has urged members of the movement to report any suspicious behaviour, unauthorised registration, financial demands or persons claiming to represent BWC so that appropriate action can be taken.

Prophet Adom Kyei Dua has also reiterated that only the Council of Royals (COR) of BWC, working with him, has the authority to take decisions on behalf of the movement. He stressed that no individual outside the recognised leadership structure has the mandate to make decisions, issue directives or represent BWC without proper authorisation.
