Dr. Caesar Calls For Support For Local Businesses

The Chief Executive Officer of MY Ventures, M Y Caesar, popularly known as Dr Caesar, has made a passionate appeal to President John Dramani Mahama to help local businesses through tax rebates and other incentives to help grow the local economy. He said indigenous businesses could help grow the economy when given such incentives, which would enable them to expand their businesses and employ more people, thus creating jobs and reducing unemployment in the country.

He thus appealed to the president to take a second look at the current tax regime in the country and do something about helping local businesses to expand.

DONATION

Dr Caesar made the appeal when he presented 70 cartons of Linna Tea, one of the products of M.Y Ventures, a leading food supplement and natural health centre based in Kumasi, to Nananom during the first Akwasidae festival of the year at the Manhyia Palace on January 19, 2025.

He said supporting the businesses could have a positive impact on the economy, as more jobs would be created, thereby stimulating economic activities in the country. The donation to the chiefs, he said, was to enhance their immune system and total wellbeing.

The Asantehene has in the past pledged his readiness to collaborate with the government to promote local businesses in the region as part of his effort to create jobs for the people and also enhance the economic growth of the region.

Mr Caesar was hopeful that the Asantehene would use his position to get support for businesses in the region to expand their operations and boost the economy of the region. President Mahama was the special guest of honour at the Akwasidae on Sunday.
