BAB: Passengers Cry for Bus Stop Shelter at Bibiani-Kumasi Sprinter Van Station

The Bibiani-Kumasi sprinter van station, a vital transportation hub, has become a symbol of discomfort and frustration for passengers. The absence of a bus stop shelter and seating facility has left commuters stranded, forcing them to stand for extended periods while waiting for their journeys to begin.

Passengers are pleading with station authorities to address the issue, citing the need for a comfortable waiting area. “We are tired of standing for hours,” said Ama, a regular passenger. “We need a place to rest and wait comfortably.”

The lack of seating has become a major concern, particularly for elderly passengers, pregnant women, and those with disabilities. “I have to stand for hours, and it’s exhausting,” said Kofi, an elderly passenger. “I wish they would provide a place for us to sit while we wait.”

Passengers have expressed frustration with the station’s management, feeling neglected and ignored. “We’ve been complaining about this for months, but nothing has been done,” said a passenger. “It’s like they don’t care about our comfort.”

Passengers suggest simple solutions, such as providing benches or chairs. “It wouldn’t cost much, but it would make a big difference,” said another passenger.

Station authorities have yet to respond to the passengers’ demands, leaving commuters hopeful that their cries will be heard and action will be taken to address their concerns.

In the meantime, passengers will continue to stand and wait, wondering when their comfort will become a priority.
