The initiative to sponsor the medical training of the medical students in the Tamale Central Constituency by the late Member of Parliament was to contribute to bridging the “Doctor-Patient” gap in the Northern Region as well as improve health care delivery.

These medical students are the nation’s future health workers, Doctors and Surgeons alike, they stand to serve this nation for generations, a service both the Hon Haruna Iddrisu and the late Murtala Muhammed have embodied so well.
