The Nkoranzamanhemaa Medical and Moral Safety Foundation has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to healthcare and community welfare by settling the medical bills of 12-year-old Sarah at St. Teresa’s Hospital in Nkoranza. Sarah, who recently underwent surgery for cancer, received prompt and life-saving treatment through the support of the foundation.

This timely intervention came shortly after the official launch of the foundation at the palace of Nkoranzamanhemaa Nana Yaa Sarpomaa III in Nkoranza. The ceremony marked the beginning of its mission to provide medical, moral, and social assistance to vulnerable members of the community.
As part of the launch, the foundation conducted free cancer screening for all women, ensuring early detection and intervention for those suffering from cancer in any form. This initiative highlights the foundation’s commitment to proactive healthcare and community empowerment.
On behalf of Nana Yaa Sarpomaa III, Nana Atta Fosu Ababio, Asamanhene, and Nana Twum, Okyeame to the Nkoranzamanhemaa, presented the cash to the hospital administration. The gesture underscores the foundation’s dedication to supporting critical medical cases in the community.

Midwife Mary Akyeampomaa, who diagnosed Sarah and submitted a report to the Omanhemaa, expressed overwhelming emotion. “It is heartwarming to see immediate support for children and women battling life-threatening illnesses. This act gives hope to many families,” she stated.
Speaking on behalf of Nana Yaa Sarpomaa III, Nana Atta Owusu Ababio assured the public that the doors of the Nkoranzamanhemaa are always open for women and children battling cancer. He emphasized that the foundation’s support is non-partisan, welcoming assistance from all individuals and groups to ensure the growth and sustainability of the foundation.
He further stressed that the foundation will cater to anyone diagnosed with cancer, ensuring they receive prompt medical attention. “No one should suffer or die due to lack of resources when help is available,” he said.

The foundation has also received support from Mrs. Kyeremanteng Oppong Harriet, CEO of Amea Foundation, signaling a strong partnership for healthcare promotion and social welfare in the region.
Local residents have welcomed the foundation’s efforts, noting that such interventions give hope to families in critical situations. They praised Nana Yaa Sarpomaa III for taking a proactive role in ensuring the welfare of vulnerable community members.
Ama Amissah, Sarah’s grandmother, expressed her heartfelt gratitude. “Without the support of Nana Yaa Sarpomaa III, my orphan grandchild might not have survived. We are eternally grateful,” she said tearfully.

With the support of Nana Kwame Baffoe IV, the Omanhemanhene of the Nkoranza Traditional Area, the foundation aims to become a multinational organization, extending its services to other regions and potentially other countries in West Africa.
The free cancer screening conducted during the launch in the Bono East Region, Nkoranza District, underscores the foundation’s proactive approach to healthcare. By providing early detection and intervention for women, the initiative ensures that vulnerable individuals receive timely medical attention, reinforcing the foundation’s commitment to saving lives and promoting community well-being.
