In a remarkable show of compassion, Lawyer Kingsley Bennieh, Deputy Managing Director of Ghana Post, has once again reached out to the vulnerable, donating essential items and financial support to over 300 widows and members of the Happy Family Team.

Mr. Yaw Marfo ( Ghana Nti), the NDC Youth Organiser for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, praised Lawyer Bennieh for his long-standing commitment to service. “He has been serving the NDC from the grassroots all the way to the top,” Mr. Marfo said, lauding his unwavering dedication.
The Youth Organiser revealed that Kingsley’s commitment to helping widows began during his school days. “He has quietly supported the less fortunate for years, sometimes without wanting it to be known,” he added.

The donation brought renewed hope to beneficiaries who had lost faith, with several widows and widowers describing how the support lifted their spirits. “This has given us a reason to smile again,” said one widow, her voice filled with gratitude.
The initiative’s inclusivity ensures that widowers and other vulnerable groups were also supported, reflecting a leadership style that leaves no one behind. Mr. Marfo emphasized that acts like these strengthen social cohesion and set a powerful example for young leaders.

He seized the moment to advise the youth to avoid tramadol and other harmful substances. Instead, he encouraged them to embrace trade and vocational skills, noting that programs from the John Mahama administration and the NYA are ready to support their development.
Mr. Marfo also praised the Mahama administration for stabilizing the cedi, saying it sets the stage for a prosperous 2026. “With leaders who prioritize the people, the future is bright,” he stated.
The donation impacted not only widows and the Happy Family Team but also floating voters, reinforcing the idea that responsible leadership benefits the entire community. “Leadership is measured by action, not position,” Mr. Marfo added.
Lawyer Bennieh concluded the drive with a message of hope, urging beneficiaries to stay resilient and optimistic. He reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots empowerment and community development.
The donation has sparked admiration across the NDC and beyond, showcasing selfless leadership. Mr. Marfo said it is a lesson for all: real change begins when leaders actively engage with the people they serve.
