AOWIN MCE SHARES EID GOODWILL MESSAGE WITH MUSLIM COMMUNITY● CALLS FOR PEACE, UNITY, AND COHESION

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Aowin, Western North Region, Ghana, Stephen Ntow Morcher, has extended a warm goodwill message to the Muslim community in the municipality as they join Muslims across the world to celebrate Eid ul-Fitr.

In his message, the MCE congratulated Muslims for successfully observing the holy month of Ramadan, describing it as a period marked by deep spiritual reflection, discipline, sacrifice, and devotion to God.

He noted that the values cultivated during Ramadan—such as patience, tolerance, humility, and self-control—should continue to guide the behavior of Muslims beyond the fasting period.

Hon. Morcher commended the Muslim community in Aowin for their continuous contributions to the growth and development of the municipality, as well as their commitment to maintaining peace and order over the years.

He emphasized that Eid ul-Fitr should serve as an opportunity for all residents, regardless of religious background, to strengthen relationships and promote unity within their communities.

According to him, peace and harmony remain essential pillars for sustainable development, stressing that no meaningful progress can be achieved in an atmosphere of conflict or division.

The MCE also encouraged the youth to refrain from acts of violence and divisive conduct, urging them to instead embrace values that foster social cohesion, mutual respect, and national development.

He reiterated the commitment of the Municipal Assembly to implementing development-oriented policies and initiatives aimed at improving the living standards of residents within the municipality.

Hon. Morcher further called on citizens to support the Assembly by actively participating in community development efforts and fulfilling their civic responsibilities.

He concluded by wishing all Muslims in Aowin a peaceful and joyous Eid celebration, while encouraging them to continue promoting love, unity, and peaceful coexistence in the municipality.
