Amenfi West: NPP Chairman Vows Victory, Calls For Peace Ahead Of Dec. 7 Polls

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for Amenfi West in the western region, Mr. Obed Asamoah, is confident about securing a parliamentary seat victory in the upcoming elections. This comes after Hon. Ignatius Kwasi Afrifa becomes the NPP’s parliamentary candidate for the constituency.

Chairman Obed urged party members to unite and support Afrifa, emphasizing that this is the key to winning the seat from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) after several years of occupying the seat without any development. He described Afrifa as articulate, resourceful, vociferous, and highly educated, making him the perfect candidate to put Amenfi West on the spotlight for development.

Afrifa, a dedicated member of the party, will facilitate development for the constituents, perhaps the need to vote for him come December 7 polls. He promised to bring massive infrastructural development to Amenfi West, focusing on areas such as job creation, sports development, community welfare schemes, and social support services.

According to Mr. Obed Asamoah, even though Mr. Afrifa is not a member of parliament yet, but he is performing several tasks which the incumbent MP cannot do.

The parliamentary candidate prioritizes voter welfare above all, highlighting unity and development as hallmark of Hon. Afrifa.

“We, the NPP in the Amefi West, know we are going to win this upcoming elections hands down. It’s a one touch victory for us since NDC has failed the constituency for the past thirty years. I will plead with all to vote for the Npp to win the seat for continues development in Amenfi West”, he stated.

He reiterated the need for peaceful elections. “Supporters of all political parties are urged to avoid actions that could threaten national peace’.
