AOWIN MCE BAGS HONORARY DOCTORATE ● EXPRESSES GRATITUDE, PLEDGES DEDICATION TO DUTY

The Municipal Chief Executive for Aowin, Stephen Ntow Morcher, has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humane Letters in recognition of his commitment to public service and development.

The honour was conferred by Elohim Theological College and Seminary in collaboration with Apostolic University of the USA at a ceremony attended by distinguished personalities.

The awarding institutions explained that the recognition was based on Mr. Morcher’s dedication to improving the lives of people within the Aowin Municipality and his contributions to community development.

According to them, his leadership and focus on practical development initiatives have made a significant impact on the municipality.

Receiving the award, Mr. Morcher expressed heartfelt gratitude to the institutions for the honour done to him.

He described the recognition as humbling and said it would serve as strong motivation to continue serving the people diligently.

The MCE noted that, since assuming office, he has prioritised initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of residents.

He mentioned the creation of job opportunities for the youth as one of the key areas his administration has focused on.

Mr. Morcher further highlighted the distribution of laptops to students to support education and enhance digital learning in the municipality.

He added that his office has also undertaken the drilling of boreholes in several communities to address water challenges.

He emphasised that the honorary doctorate is a call to greater responsibility and pledged to work harder to bring more development to the people of Aowin.
