BACK AMENFI WEST MCE:Roxy’s Rallying Supporters

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Chairman for Amenfi West in the Western Region, Mr. Roxy Armoo, has made a passionate call to his supporters to rally behind the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Priscilla Yorke, to deliver quality services to the constituency.

As a founding member of the party, Chairman Roxy’s commitment to the NDC’s success is unwavering. Despite not securing the MCE position for himself, he remains optimistic about the party’s prospects in the constituency.

He believes that his hard work and dedication will ultimately be rewarded in the near future. In a stirring address to his supporters, Chairman Roxy urged those calling on him to step down to desist from such demands.

Chairman Roxy emphasized his role as a father of the party in the constituency and expressed confidence in the party’s ability to deliver. He praised the John Mahama administration, highlighting the progress made within the first 120 days in office.

The progress includes the fight against illegal mining, appointment of key officials and ministers, education reform, healthcare delivery, and more. Chairman Roxy noted that the party’s momentum is gaining traction, and the NDC is poised for success and delivering on its mandate.

The party stalwart also dismissed criticism from the minority in Parliament, particularly their calls for Mr. Sammy Gyamfi’s removal. He described these demands as mere “bluff” and “bugos noise,” implying that they lack substance.

“We all give, and it’s not a sin to give to others, but the recipient had her own intention because she was filming and making a lot of noise, which is not good.” He reiterated that it was a trap for government officials, although Sammy intended to be generous.

He called on other officials to be cautious while giving alms in public, emphasizing that such acts should be done discreetly. Chairman Roxy’s optimism is infectious, and his supporters are rallying behind him.

On the issue of the cedi appreciating against the dollar, he stated that the system has indeed exposed the Akufo-Addo and Bawumia government, which has led the country into a ditch. He added that Hon. Ato Forson means business and perhaps deserves applause for it.

“The cedi is appreciating because of good governance; indeed, the NDC is doing wonders. This shows how credible we are, and the NPP’s claim to credit is bogus,” he emphasized.

They share his vision for a prosperous Amenfi West and are eager to work together to achieve it. As a seasoned politician, Chairman Roxy understands the importance of perseverance and dedication.

Chairman Roxy’s leadership style is characterized by his ability to bring people together, fostering a sense of community and cooperation essential for the party’s success.
