BECE KICKS OFF: ASANTE AKYEM NORTH MP SUPPORTS CANDIDATES WITH MATH TOOLS, EXTENDS GOODWILL MESSAGE

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asante Akyem North Constituency, Hon. Ohene Kwame Frimpong, has distributed mathematical sets and also extended his heartfelt best wishes to all candidates sitting for the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). In a message of encouragement, the MP praised the efforts of students and pledged his continued support for their academic journeys.

As thousands of students across the nation gear up for this crucial examination, Hon. Frimpong reaffirmed his commitment to education and youth development in the constituency. He emphasized the importance of hard work, self-belief, and focus as key ingredients for academic success.

While the BECE kicks off today, the MP has taken proactive steps by providing essential mathematical tools and learning materials to Junior High School (JHS) students across the Asante Akyem North District. These resources were distributed as part of his ongoing educational support initiative aimed at boosting academic performance and reducing resource inequality.

Beyond the provision of academic tools, Hon. Frimpong also visited several schools to personally motivate the students. During his engagements, he urged them to believe in their abilities, remain disciplined, and approach the examination with confidence. His interactions were marked by inspiring words that resonated deeply with students and teachers alike.

“I want every student to know that they are capable of achieving greatness,” he stated. “Exams are not just a test of knowledge but a test of character. Stay focused, give it your best shot, and trust that your efforts will pay off.”

Teachers and school administrators expressed their gratitude to the MP for his continued support. According to many, Hon. Frimpong’s contributions have had a visible impact on student morale and performance, particularly in subjects such as Mathematics, which often pose challenges for candidates.

The MP’s educational outreach program is part of a broader agenda to empower youth through improved access to quality education. Over the past few years, he has led several initiatives, including scholarship schemes, the provision of learning infrastructure, and career guidance programs.

Community members have praised the MP’s hands-on approach to leadership. Parents, in particular, lauded the move, noting that the support had eased the financial burden on families and enabled students to prepare more effectively for the examination.

With the BECE beginning today, Hon. Ohene Kwame Frimpong’s gesture comes as a timely morale booster. His encouragement and tangible support are seen not just as acts of goodwill, but as a strong investment in the future of Asante Akyem North’s youth.

As the students head into the examination halls, the community rallies behind them with high hopes. The MP concluded his message with a final word of assurance: “I believe in you. Go out there and make us proud. Good luck to all our BECE candidates!”
