C-DAG Nat’l Executives Urges Patience on Transport Fare Adjustment

The National Executives of the Concerned Drivers Association of Ghana (C-DAG) have taken note of the recent suggestion by our esteemed Regional Chairmen regarding the need to review and adjust transport fares. We acknowledge that their concerns are both valid and legitimate, and we fully support their position. However, we urge all stakeholders to exercise a little patience as we navigate this process.

As we are all aware, a new government is in place, and the newly appointed Minister of Transport is yet to settle fully into the office. In light of this, we, the National Executives, have already begun taking steps to engage with the new minister to discuss issues affecting our welfare, with transport fare adjustments being a key point of discussion.

We want to assure our regional chairmen and all transport operators that, as always, the welfare of drivers remains our top priority. We remain committed and resolute in advocating for the best interests of our members and will ensure that any decision taken reflects fairness and sustainability for all.

We appreciate the patience and cooperation of all transport operators as we work towards a positive resolution.

We are committed to ensuring that the interests of our members are protected and that their welfare is prioritized. We will continue to engage with the relevant stakeholders to ensure that a fair and sustainable solution is reached.

We urge all transport operators to remain calm and patient as we navigate this process. We are confident that a positive resolution will be reached, and we will continue to provide updates on our progress.

Thank you.

Signed:
