Leader of the All People’s Congress (APC), Alhaji Dr. Hassan Ayariga, has dropped a political bombshell, warning that Ghana’s peace and sovereignty are under siege from undocumented foreigners and weak immigration enforcement. In a fiery national address after a massive walk for peace, security, and justice, he vowed that Ghana will not sit idly by while foreign criminals destroy the nation’s future.
Dr. Ayariga thundered that Ghana’s legendary peace and hospitality were being abused by lawless elements who exploit loopholes in immigration systems and ECOWAS protocols. “These criminals endanger our families, steal our jobs, and weaken our security,” he declared, adding that Ghanaians must rise to defend their motherland.
The APC leader revealed that petitions had already been dispatched to the FBI, the International Criminal Court, ECOWAS, and Ghana’s National Security apparatus to draw global attention to the crisis. “The eyes of the world are now on Ghana, and the time to act is now,” he charged.
Turning his guns on government, Dr. Ayariga demanded the immediate and firm enforcement of immigration laws. He called on the Ghana Police Service, National Security, and the Immigration Service to flush out foreign criminals and protect citizens from further harm.
He did not spare Parliament either. In a direct challenge, he told lawmakers to wake up and review Ghana’s ECOWAS obligations, warning that no protocol should be allowed to undermine the country’s sovereignty. “Ghana first! Our safety cannot be sacrificed on the altar of regional agreements,” he blasted.
To ordinary citizens, Dr. Ayariga issued a rallying cry for vigilance and unity. He urged communities to report suspicious activities and insisted that security begins at the grassroots. “Our mothers, fathers, youth, and chiefs must all rise to defend our communities,” he said.
In a sharp message to foreigners, Dr. Ayariga drew a clear line: Ghana welcomes honest workers and law-abiding residents, but criminals will be met with zero tolerance. “To those who come here with crime in their hearts and violence in their hands, Ghana will not tolerate you,” he warned.
He reassured the nation that Ghanaians would not cower before fear or intimidation. “We are not afraid. We are strong. And with Allah’s protection, Ghana will remain free, safe, and sovereign,” he declared to thunderous applause.
The speech, delivered in fiery tones, was more than just political talk. It was a national call to arms for peace, security, and justice. Supporters described it as the boldest intervention yet in the debate on illegal immigration and national safety.
Across the country, Ghanaians have been hailing Dr. Ayariga’s proposals as timely, patriotic, and a true reflection of the public mood. Many say his stance represents the courage the nation has been yearning for, urging government to act swiftly before the situation gets out of hand.

National Speech on Security, Peace, and the Protection of Ghana
Fellow Ghanaians, brothers and sisters at home and abroad, good morning.
First, I extend my deepest gratitude to all who stood with me in yesterday’s Nationwide Walk for Peace, Security, and Justice. Your presence, your voices, and your commitment showed the world that Ghanaians are united when it comes to defending our country. May Allah continue to bless and protect each of you, and may He shield our beloved Ghana from all evil and criminal elements.
My purpose today is simple yet urgent: I speak not as an individual, but as a Ghanaian who loves this nation deeply and is determined to defend its sovereignty, peace, and future.
Ghana is a land of peace, hospitality, and opportunity. But today, our peace is under threat. We face rising criminal activities, many linked to undocumented foreigners who take advantage of weak immigration controls and loopholes in ECOWAS protocols. These elements disrupt our communities, endanger our families, and threaten the jobs and security of ordinary Ghanaians.
This is why we acted. Yesterday’s walk was not just a protest; it was a national call for action. We have also submitted petitions to the FBI, the International Criminal Court, ECOWAS, National Security, and other relevant agencies. Ghana is not alone; the eyes of the international community are now on this matter.
But, fellow Ghanaians, the responsibility begins at home.
1. I call on our government to enforce immigration laws with firmness and fairness.
2. I urge National Security, the Police, and the Ghana Immigration Service to protect our citizens from foreign criminal elements.
3. I challenge Parliament to review our policies under ECOWAS and ensure they truly serve the safety and sovereignty of Ghana, not undermine it.
To my fellow citizens, I say: let us be vigilant. Let us unite as one people. Let us report suspicious activities and protect one another. Security begins not only with government but also with the community. Our mothers, fathers, youth, and leaders all have a role to play.
And to foreigners living among us, let me be clear: Ghana is a land of hospitality. We welcome all who come here to work honestly, to contribute, and to respect our laws. But to those who come here with crime in their hearts and violence in their hands, Ghana will not tolerate you. We are united, and we are determined to defend our nation.
Fellow Ghanaians,
We are not afraid. We are strong. And with Allah’s protection, Ghana will remain free, safe, and sovereign.
Let us continue to stand together, let us continue to fight for justice, and let us continue to defend the land of our birth.
May Allah bless you all, and may Allah bless our homeland Ghana.
Thank you.
Alhaji Dr. Hassan Ayariga
