OHENE KWAME FRIMPONG PUTS SMILES ON FACES OF PWDs WITH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PACKAGE

Asante Akyem North, Dec. 25, 2025 – Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in Asante Akyem North were filled with joy this Christmas as the Member of Parliament, Ohene Kwame Frimpong, presented his annual support package to bring relief and hope during the festive season.

The initiative, part of the MP’s decade-long tradition, included cash donations, assorted food items, and essential supplies aimed at easing the challenges faced by PWDs and making their Christmas celebrations comfortable and meaningful.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Frimpong emphasized that Christmas is a season for giving, caring, and uplifting the vulnerable. “Our brothers and sisters living with disabilities have contributed to our communities, and it is right that we bring them hope and joy this festive season,” he said.

He highlighted the importance of inclusion, encouraging community members and leaders to continue creating opportunities and providing support that enhances the dignity and well-being of PWDs.

The MP assured that the initiative would continue in the coming years, reinforcing his commitment to improving the welfare of PWDs in the constituency.

Community leaders and local officials present commended the MP for his consistent support, describing the gesture as a model of compassionate leadership and a strong example of social responsibility.

During the event, beneficiaries prayed for the MP’s health, long life, and continued success. They pledged to vote massively for him in the coming elections so that his generous initiatives could continue, adding that they had never witnessed a kind gesture of such magnitude in the constituency before.

In turn, Mr. Frimpong prayed for the beneficiaries, asking God to bless them with good health, peace, and prosperity in the coming year. He encouraged them to remain resilient, hopeful, and united as a community.

The distribution of the support package was carried out in an organized manner, with the MP personally overseeing the process to ensure that all PWDs received assistance efficiently and fairly.

The event also provided moments of fellowship, as PWDs and community members shared experiences, offered prayers, and celebrated together, strengthening community bonds and fostering unity.
