REV. FRIEND NYAKOR TAWIAH TO BE HONOURED AT POST-ORDINATION THANKSGIVING

The Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Ebenezer Congregation, Opersika, is set to hold a special Post-Ordination Thanksgiving Service in honour of Rev. Friend Nyakor Tawiah and his family on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

The thanksgiving service, which will take place at the church premises in Opersika, is expected to bring together members of the congregation, family, friends, church leaders and well-wishers to celebrate Rev. Tawiah’s ordination and ministry journey.

The event is intended to provide an opportunity for the congregation and the family to express gratitude to God for the successful ordination and to seek divine guidance and strength for the minister’s continued service to the church and the wider community.

Church members and invited guests are expected to use the occasion to offer prayers and thanksgiving while reaffirming their support for Rev. Tawiah as he takes on his responsibilities in the ministry.

The service will also highlight the important role of the Presbyterian Church in nurturing spiritual leadership and strengthening the faith of individuals and families within the communities it serves.

The organisers have extended an invitation to members of the public, particularly friends, relatives and well-wishers of Rev. Tawiah and his family, to join the congregation for the special occasion.

The District Minister, Rev. Horla K. Nyavor, the Lay Representative, Mr. Jonas Appiah-Kubi, and Senior Presbyter, Mr. Ebenezer Akpatsu, are listed among the key contacts for the programme.

The Post-Ordination Thanksgiving Service is scheduled for Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the Ebenezer Congregation, Opersika, and is expected to be a memorable occasion of worship, thanksgiving and fellowship as Rev. Friend Nyakor Tawiah and his family celebrate this significant milestone in their Christian service.
