As Ghanaians prepare to head to the polls, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is poised to unlock the Wassa Amenfi West Municipal Assembly’s vast mineral resources, transforming the local economy and improving lives. The assembly, with Asankrangwa as its capital, is in Ghana’s Western Region, rich in mineral deposits.
The NPP’s vision for Amenfi West involves harnessing these resources to create a Minerals Bank, boosting the local economy through economic growth, job creation, and increased municipal revenue.
The NPP has demonstrated its commitment to Ghana’s development, achieving notable infrastructure and economic growth milestones. To decentralize mining licenses and provide financial support, party leaders understand local potential, crafting policies driving progress.
The NPP prioritizes community needs, ensuring development aligns with local aspirations.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Lord Nana Tandoh emphasized the NPP’s Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s vision to establish a minerals bank for the people of Amenfi West, if he is voted into power, come December 7.
“In order to decentralized license acquisition for legal and sustainable mining and to help boost local businesses, our Presidential Candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has promised a mineral bank for Amenfi West, if Ghanaians give him the nod. I have a strong believe he will fulfill his promises and urge all and sundry to support these progressive ideas”.
Elaborating quality education as a top priority for the NPP’s Parliamentary Candidate, highlighting plans for a scholarship fund and GHS100,000 annual educational support for local youth to further their education. “Our Parliamentary Candidate will boost education, promoting skilled youth and healthcare, unlike others misusing their common fund,” Mr. Lord Tandoh noted.
He strongly rebuked the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for alleging that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia shifted his emphasis from economics to digitalization. “The world is transitioning into a digital era, and we must adapt”.
Mr. Tandoh commended the District Roads Improvement Project (DRIP) for enhancing rural roads and urged Amenfi West residents to vote for NPP candidates to improve their lives.
“On election day, choose the NPP to unlock Amenfi West’s mineral potential. Let’s build a brighter future together.”
