The chief’s commendation was made in a statement that was met with applause and cheers from the crowd. He expressed pride in the government’s achievement, saying it was a feat that everyone could be proud of.
“Cedi stability! It’s a feat we can all be proud of, and I must say, I’m proud of Mahama’s government for this remarkable achievement,” he declared. The chief’s voice was filled with conviction as he praised the government’s efforts.
He specifically applauded the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ato Forson and all the stakeholders involved in the process. “Your tireless efforts have paid off, and we’re seeing the fruits of your labour,” he said.

The chief also called on business owners, transport operators, and other stakeholders to reduce the prices of their products and services. “Now that the cedi is stable, it’s time for us to adjust our prices accordingly,” he urged.
He emphasized the need for collective action to ensure that the benefits of the cedi’s stability were felt by all. “Let’s make life easier for our people,” he said, adding that this would require cooperation from all stakeholders.
