Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, Founder and Leader of the Believers Worship Centre, has commended the Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, for his intervention in the concerns surrounding the Kumasi-Accra bypass project.
According to the Prophet, the Minister’s handling of the matter demonstrates a commitment to fairness and responsible leadership, particularly in addressing concerns raised by stakeholders over the project.
Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah said the intervention was important because major road projects required effective coordination, transparency and proper engagement with communities and other affected parties.
He praised Mr Agbodza for taking steps to address the issue rather than allowing disagreements and concerns surrounding the project to escalate.
The religious leader said the Minister’s approach showed that public officials could resolve sensitive national issues through dialogue, consultation and fairness.
He noted that infrastructure projects such as the Kumasi-Accra bypass were crucial to Ghana’s development, particularly in improving transportation, reducing pressure on major roads and promoting economic activity.
Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah therefore urged all parties connected to the project to cooperate with the relevant authorities and work towards a solution that would serve the broader public interest.
He also called on government officials to continue engaging stakeholders openly whenever concerns arose over major development projects.
According to him, effective leadership required listening to different sides of an issue and taking decisions based on fairness, facts and the national interest.
Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah expressed hope that the intervention by Mr Agbodza would contribute to resolving the concerns surrounding the Kumasi-Accra bypass and help ensure the successful advancement of the project.
