The Founder and Leader of Believers Worship Centre (BWC), Prophet Adom Kyei Duah, has urged Ghanaians to respect and honour the three arms of government, stressing the importance of strong state institutions in promoting peace, order and national development.
He made the call during his sermon at Katapor in Accra, where he used the symbolism of the three arms of government to explain their respective roles and importance in the governance of the country.
Prophet Adom Kyei Duah said the three arms of government — the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary — each have distinct responsibilities that contribute to the effective administration and development of Ghana.
Using the symbol of the three arms, he explained that although the institutions perform different functions, they are interconnected and collectively contribute to the stability and proper functioning of the state.
He therefore urged Ghanaians to appreciate the constitutional responsibilities of the three arms of government and avoid actions and utterances that could undermine their authority and effectiveness.
According to him, respect for state institutions is essential for the promotion of peace, democracy and good governance, particularly in a country where citizens have different political, religious and social backgrounds.
The Voice of God (VOG) cautioned Ghanaians against allowing political differences to translate into disrespect for national institutions, stressing that the interests of the country must always take precedence over individual and partisan considerations.
He called on citizens to honour the institutions established under the Constitution and support efforts aimed at strengthening Ghana’s democratic governance and national development.
Prophet Adom Kyei Duah further encouraged Christians and the general public to pray for the country’s leaders and institutions, saying responsible citizenship requires respect for authority and a commitment to the peace and progress of Ghana.
He concluded by urging Ghanaians to unite behind the country’s democratic institutions and contribute positively to national development, stressing that a peaceful and prosperous Ghana requires the collective efforts of citizens and leaders alike.
