The Bethlehem community in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality, led by Assembly Member Hon. Samuel Abugri, is calling for urgent logistical support at the CHPs Compound. The facility, which handles numerous cases daily, lacks essential resources, hindering the staff nurses’ ability to provide quality healthcare.
The community is seeking assistance from the government and non-governmental organizations to address the shortage of critical items, including:
– Beds
– Chairs for patients
– Tables for nurses
They emphasized that the lack of logistics has significantly impacted health delivery at the facility, and swift action is necessary to meet their demands.
Additionally, the Assembly Member highlighted other pressing concerns, including:
– Reestablishing network connections
– Extending electricity to nearby communities, particularly new settlers
“We lack logistics in the CHPs compound, significantly affecting health delivery. We urge the government and NGOs to come to our aid,” the community stressed.
“The extension of electricity to new settlers and network issues are also part of our concerns, we are calling for assistance from the government and other stakeholders”, the assembly member added.
