Residents of Subri, a bustling community in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality, are up in arms over the deplorable state of inner roads in the area. The once-promising road construction project has come to a grinding halt, leaving commuters and residents frustrated.
The Subri inner roads project, initiated some months ago by the Member of Parliament, Hon. Alfred Obeng Boateng, aimed to improve transportation and enhance economic activities in the community. However, the project’s abrupt halt has turned the area into a nightmare for residents.
“It’s been over months since the contractors came to the site but we don’t see any improvement. We were promised better roads, but now we’re stuck with dusty paths and potholes.”
Fed up with the inaction, residents have taken to the social media to demand completion of the project.
“We’re tired of empty promises. We need the authorities to take immediate action and complete the roads.”
The Subri inner roads debacle serves as a stark reminder of the need for accountability and effective governance. Residents deserve better infrastructure to improve their quality of life.
As the community awaits a resolution, one thing is clear: the people of Subri will not rest until their voices are heard and their roads are completed.
