BAB: Humjibre Community Cries Out for Better Infrastructure and Healthcare

The Humjibre community in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the western north region is facing a dire situation, plagued by poor roads and a devastated Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound. Residents are calling on the government to take immediate action to address these pressing issues.

The community’s healthcare system is in shambles, with the CHPS compound in ruins. This has made access to quality healthcare a significant challenge for residents.

“The community deserves better, and it’s time for the government to step in”.

Moreover, the poor roads in the area are exacerbating the situation, making it difficult for patients to access healthcare facilities. This is unacceptable, especially considering the importance of timely medical attention in emergency situations.

The assembly member Hon. Enock Happy Nkrumah in an interview with the press is urging the government to:

– _Rebuild and equip the CHPS compound_ to provide quality healthcare services

– _Repair and maintain roads_ to ensure access to healthcare facilities

– _Increase funding_ for healthcare initiatives to address the shortage of medical personnel and resources

– _Implement policies_ to promote quality healthcare and infrastructure development

Improving healthcare and infrastructure requires a collective effort from the government, healthcare providers, and community members. By working together, we can ensure that the Humjibre community receives the quality healthcare and infrastructure they deserve.

It’s time for the government to take concrete steps to address these pressing issues. The Humjibre community awaits action, not promises.
