Bodi NDC Congratulates Ahi On His Appointment As Deputy Minister, Thanks John Mahama For Honoring Western North

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) communication officer for the Bodi constituency, Hon. Atta Donkor, has expressed his profound gratitude, beaming with joy, to H.E. John Dramani Mahama. The district had just received news of President John Mahama’s appointment of their own Samson Ahi as Deputy Minister-Designate for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry.

The executives couldn’t thank President Mahama enough for this honor. They praised his wisdom in selecting Ahi, a man of great integrity and expertise. “This appointment is a testament to the President’s commitment to developing and honoring our region,” said the constituency communication officer.

As they celebrated, Mr. Atta Donkor urged Hon. Samson Ahi to use his new position to push for greater development in the region. “I will entreat Hon. Ahi to use his expertise to create jobs for our youth, who have been moving to Accra in search of greener pastures. We have faith in him, and we know he will make us proud,” he noted.

Ahi’s appointment was seen as a major boost for the region. The executives hoped that he would use his influence to attract investors and create economic opportunities. “We need investors, we need growth, and we need development.”

Mr. Atta Donkor also called on Ahi to prioritize the implementation of the “One District, One Factory” initiative, especially in the Bodi district, since it falls under his regime. “This is a chance for us to industrialize and create employment for our people. The one district, one factory project can be enhanced under his watch; I urge him to do that for us,” he reemphasized.

As they looked to the future, he urged Ahi to lift the image of the district and the region through his appointment. “You are an ambassador for our region, and we expect great things from you.”

He concluded by congratulating him on his appointment. “We promise to support him every step of the way, as he works to develop the region.”

As Ahi accepts the new role and prepares for vetting, the country and perhaps the Western North will expect more from him.

In the days and weeks that followed, Ahi worked hard to justify the trust that President Mahama and the party executives had placed in him.
