EDITORIAL: Alone In Rome: Christian Council & Pastors Must Cease Attacks on Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei Duah

In a disturbing trend, Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei Duah has been subjected to relentless attacks by some self-proclaimed spiritual leaders, including pastors, reverends, and evangelists, under the umbrella of the Christian Council. These unwarranted assaults have sparked widespread concern and outrage among Ghanaians.

The attacks on Prophet Adom Kyei Duah are not only unprovoked but also unchristian. They reflect poorly on the character and integrity of the individuals and organizations involved. Rather than engaging in constructive dialogue or offering words of encouragement, these spiritual leaders have chosen to bully and belittle a fellow servant of God.

It is appalling that the Christian Council, an organization that should promote unity and cooperation among Christians, has been implicated in these attacks. Instead of fostering a spirit of love and fellowship, they seem to be fueling division and hostility.

Prophet Adom Kyei Duah’s contributions to Ghana’s spiritual landscape are undeniable. His ministry has touched countless lives, and his dedication to spreading the gospel is inspiring. It is unconscionable that he should be subjected to such vicious attacks by those who claim to serve the same Lord.

The incessant attacks on Prophet Adom Kyei Duah raise serious questions about the motivations and values of those involved. Are they driven by jealousy, insecurity, or a lust for power? Whatever the reason, it is clear that their actions are not motivated by a desire to serve God or promote the welfare of humanity.

As Christians, we are called to love one another, forgive our enemies, and pray for those who persecute us. The attacks on Prophet Adom Kyei Duah are a stark reminder that many of those who claim to follow Christ are not living up to their professed values.

The Christian community in Ghana deserves better than to be led by individuals who prioritize personal agendas over the principles of love, compassion, and unity. It is time for the Christian Council and other spiritual leaders to reflect on their actions and prioritize the welfare of the body of Christ.

We urge the Christian Council and the pastors involved in these attacks to cease their hostilities and instead engage in constructive dialogue with Prophet Adom Kyei Duah. By doing so, they can help to promote unity and understanding within the Christian community.

The attacks on Prophet Adom Kyei Duah are not only hurtful to him but also damaging to the reputation of the Christian community in Ghana. It is time for spiritual leaders to prioritize love, compassion, and unity over personal agendas and petty squabbles.

In conclusion, we call on the Christian Council and all spiritual leaders involved in these attacks to stop their bullying tactics and treat Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei Duah with the respect and dignity he deserves. Only then can we build a more loving, compassionate, and united Christian community in Ghana.
