The Member of Parliament for the Suaman Constituency, Hon. Frederick Addy, and the former Western North Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. William Benjamin Assuah, have declared their support for Mr. Yaw Harry Addo, urging delegates and the party leadership to retain him as the Western North Regional Communications Officer.
Mr. Assuah made his position known during an interview with the media, where he expressed his unwavering support for Mr. Addo’s retention. Hon. Frederick Addy made a similar appeal while addressing party faithful, urging delegates to reward dedication and sacrifice by maintaining Mr. Addo in office.
Hon. Addy said Harry Addo has distinguished himself through years of dedicated service, hard work and loyalty to the NPP, insisting that such commitment deserves recognition rather than being overlooked.
According to the Suaman MP, Mr. Addo has consistently defended the party and effectively communicated its policies and programmes, even under challenging circumstances. He therefore appealed to delegates to consider Mr. Addo’s track record when deciding on the Regional Communications Officer position.
He stressed that the party must reward commitment and competence, arguing that retaining experienced officers would strengthen the NPP’s communications machinery and promote unity within the Western North Region.
In his interview, Mr. William Benjamin Assuah also threw his weight behind Harry Addo’s retention, describing him as one of the party’s most committed and effective communicators.
The former Western North Regional Chairman stated that Harry Addo had made enormous sacrifices for the NPP, revealing that he lost his job because of his dedication to party work and the significant time and effort he devoted to the party’s activities. He argued that individuals who make such sacrifices deserve recognition and appreciation.
Mr. Assuah therefore urged delegates not to overlook Mr. Addo’s contributions but to reward his loyalty and commitment by retaining him as the Western North Regional Communications Officer.
He further appealed to party members to place the interests of the NPP above personal considerations, stressing that recognising committed party officers would inspire others to make similar sacrifices for the growth and success of the party.
The endorsements by Hon. Frederick Addy and Mr. William Benjamin Assuah are expected to strengthen calls for Harry Addo’s retention, with both leaders expressing confidence that his continued service would further enhance the NPP’s communications strategy and organisational capacity in the Western North Region.
