The Paramount Chief of Wenchiki Traditional Area, Nana Alhaji Abubakar Awufour, has offered some wise words to President-elect John Dramani Mahama. He advised Mahama to prioritize Ghana’s culture, traditions, and religious groups, ensuring their needs are met and respected throughout his administration.

Nana Abubakar emphasized that Mahama’s victory in the 2024 election indicates that Ghanaians want him to lead again. He cautioned Mahama not to neglect his roots and the cultural heritage of Ghana, warning that doing so would have regrettable consequences.
