Zera Mission Africa Promotes Community Development and Christian Growth in Banda District.
Zera Mission Africa, a non-governmental organization, has organized a sanitation activity to promote community development and support the growth of Christianity in local societies. According to Mr. Bright Debrah, the organization’s coordinator for Bono, Bono East, and Ahafo regions, the goal is to provide resources that enhance human life and foster societal growth.
The organization’s projects go beyond clean-up exercises, focusing on areas such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure development. Some initiatives include Teachers Workshops, Surgical Support Schemes, free medical screenings, Orphanage Homes, and Community Projects like building boreholes, toilet facilities, schools, and health facilities.
The sanitation initiative in Banda Gbao was based on health screening results highlighting the need for proper sanitation and hygiene practices. Mr. Debrah emphasized the importance of educating communities on proper use and maintenance of infrastructure and resources.
After the sanitation exercise, Mr. Debrah gifted vulnerable individuals with pecuniary aid exceeding Gh¢100,000. He urged beneficiaries to utilize the organization’s resources to improve their lives and encouraged others to be patient.
