I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to serve as the Deputy Minister for Finance, and I’m thankful to H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the trust he placed in me. It’s been an honor to work alongside amazing individuals, including my boss, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, who believed in me and gave me the chance to take on significant responsibilities.
I also appreciate the hard work and dedication of my colleagues, Hon. Abena Osei-Asare and Hon. Dr. Stephen Amoah. Together, we’ve worked tirelessly to drive Ghana’s growth and development. I’m confident that our efforts will have a lasting impact, and I’m excited to see the progress that will be made in the years to come.
I’d like to extend my gratitude to the Chief Director, Md Eva Mends, and the entire staff at the Ministry of Finance. Your expertise and commitment to excellence have been invaluable, and I have no doubt that you’ll continue to propel Ghana forward.
Despite the economic challenges we’ve faced, I’m optimistic about Ghana’s future. We’ve made significant strides in recent years, with a rising growth rate, increasing tax revenues, and strong reserves. Our energy sector is stable, and we’ve made notable progress in digital and physical infrastructure development. The stage is set for accelerated growth and development, and I’m confident that Ghana will continue to thrive.
