A philanthropist Mr. Joshua Twum Barimah, who also serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JPP Construction Limited, has commissioned a mechanized borehole for the Subri Nkwanta community, providing a reliable source of clean water for the residents. The borehole, which was drilled and equipped with modern machinery, is expected to serve over 5,000 people in the community. The Subri Nkwanta community has struggled with access to clean water for years, relying on streams and rivers that are often polluted. The new borehole will provide a safe and reliable source of water, improving the health and well-being of the residents.
The project was completed in a matter of weeks, and the borehole is now fully operational. The community came together to celebrate the commissioning of the borehole, with traditional leaders, local government officials, and residents all in attendance. The philanthropist was praised for his generosity and commitment to improving the lives of others.
Nana Ngoah Okumdom II, Nifahene of the Anhwiaso Traditional Council, expressed his gratitude to the philanthropist, saying, “This is a game-changer for our community. We are grateful for the kindness and generosity of the philanthropist. This borehole will improve the health and well-being of our people.”
The committee chairman, Mr. Stephen Kesseh, also seized the opportunity to applaud the philanthropist for prioritizing the welfare of the community. He called for God’s blessings upon him.
The commissioning of the borehole is part of a larger effort to improve access to clean water and sanitation in the community. The philanthropist has pledged to continue supporting the provision of toilet facilities for the community, following a request from the community.
The Subri Nkwanta community has faced numerous challenges in accessing clean water, with many residents having to rely on bottled water and nearby streams. The new borehole will alleviate this burden and provide a convenient source of clean water.
The mechanized borehole is equipped with modern machinery, including a solar-powered pump and a water treatment system. This ensures that the water is clean and safe for consumption, reducing the risk of water-borne diseases.
The community is excited about the new borehole, and residents look forward to enjoying clean and safe drinking water. The philanthropist’s generosity has brought hope and relief to the community, and his investment will have a lasting impact on the lives of the residents.
