As part of efforts to improve road conditions in Bia West, the District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Mathew Annor, inspected the ongoing road maintenance project at Adiepena No. 1 today, along the Essam-Yawmatwa road. This initiative is a testament to the government’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure in the district.
During the inspection, Hon. Annor expressed his satisfaction with the progress of work, emphasizing that good roads are essential for the socioeconomic development of the area. He noted that the rehabilitation of this road would significantly improve access to markets, schools, and healthcare facilities for the residents.
The DCE reiterated that road networks are his major priority, and the government is working tirelessly to ensure that all major roads in the district are in good condition. He assured the residents that the government would continue to invest in infrastructure development to boost economic activities and improve the quality of life for the people. Hon. Annor added that all other road networks in the area will see a facelift to ensure safe transportation and smooth business transactions.
Hon. Annor also took the opportunity to interact with the contractors, urging them to work diligently to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe. He emphasized the importance of quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards to ensure the durability of the road.
