The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, Hon. Paul Andoh, has commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for fulfilling his promise to provide the DRIP equipment to the municipality. At a brief ceremony to inaugurate the equipment, Hon. Paul Andoh expressed his gratitude to the President for supporting infrastructure development, particularly road improvement.
“This equipment will significantly enhance our road network. We are grateful to the President,” he said. The MCE highlighted the DRIP equipment’s importance in promoting businesses and development in the municipality.
Outlining the municipality’s roadmap, he mentioned that they have identified communities with severely damaged roads for immediate attention. However, he assured that all roads in the municipality would be made motorable.
The MCE emphasized the need for a maintenance culture to ensure the equipment’s longevity and effectiveness. He urged recruited operators to handle the equipment with care and report any issues promptly to the coordinator.
“We must prioritize maintenance culture to ensure this equipment serves us for a long time,” he stressed. “Let us work together to maximize this investment.”
The DRIP equipment is expected to benefit the entire municipality by reducing dust on roads and making them motorable for businesses. In attendance were the Municipal Coordinating Director, department heads, and assembly staff. The MCE assured that the municipal assembly would provide necessary support for the equipment’s effective use.
With the arrival of the DRIP equipment, the municipality is poised to experience significant road improvements.
