Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei Duah, Founder and Leader of the Believers Worship Centre (BWC), Worldwide, took to the pulpit during his Sunday sermon in Accra’s Katarpor. He cautioned the youth against misusing social media to engage in unnecessary activities.
With fiery passion, he declared, “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!” The congregation listened intently as he spoke out against the growing trend of young people disrespecting their elders in society. According to Prophet Duah, this behavior was not only unacceptable but also threatened the fabric of their community.
He emphasized that respect for elders was a core value that should be upheld and that the youth should learn from their wisdom and experience. The prophet also addressed the issue of defamation, particularly the spread of falsehoods and lies about noble individuals.
He condemned this behavior, stating that it was a sin and illegal and could lead to serious consequences. He called on the judicial service to take action against those who engaged in such malicious activities. Prophet Duah stressed that the judicial system had a responsibility to protect the innocent and bring perpetrators to justice.
He urged them to act swiftly and decisively to curb the spread of misinformation and falsehoods. In addition, Prophet Duah made a clarion call to action to H.E. John Mahama, urging him to sign the anti-witchcraft bill. He believed that this bill would help protect vulnerable individuals from exploitation and abuse.
The prophet also addressed a young Muslim man who had been attacking him on social media, calling on him to cease his actions immediately. He urged the National Chief Imam to intervene and guide such individuals away from destructive behavior. Prophet Duah warned that if left unchecked, these actions could trigger tribal conflicts and escalate into further violence.
He emphasized the importance of promoting peace and understanding among different groups. Furthermore, Prophet Duah vowed to ensure that the laws worked effectively and charged Second Chance TV, his own TV channel, to always engage the legal team of BWC to educate the public about the consequences of illicit behaviors in the country.
He also issued a warning to churches and pastors who were using their pulpits to preach against him instead of focusing on unity among Christians and promoting the welfare of their members. He urged them to redirect their efforts toward building a more harmonious and supportive community.
The congregation listened attentively as Prophet Duah spoke with conviction and authority. His words resonated deeply, and many nodded in agreement. The prophet’s message was clear: it was time for individuals to take responsibility for their actions and work toward creating a more harmonious society.
As the sermon came to a close, Prophet Duah reiterated his call to action, urging everyone to play their part in promoting respect, peace, and understanding. The congregation dispersed, carrying with them a renewed sense of purpose and determination.
