Ignore John Mahama and His Desperate Attempt to Court Public Dissatisfaction for the NPP; Martin Delle, Former CEO of the Now Defunct DKM Microfinance, Is Not a Financier of the NPP 2024 Campaign

In the ever-evolving landscape of Ghanaian politics, it is crucial for citizens to discern the truth amidst the sea of misinformation and politically motivated propaganda. Recently, former President John Dramani Mahama has been making headlines with allegations that seem more rooted in desperation than in fact. Among his latest claims is the assertion that Martin Delle, the former CEO of the defunct DKM Microfinance, is a financier of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) 2024 campaign.

This baseless allegation is a clear attempt by Mahama to tarnish the reputation of the NPP and to sow seeds of doubt in the minds of the Ghanaian electorate. However, it is imperative that we, as discerning citizens, critically examine these claims rather than accept them at face value.

First and foremost, it is important to state unequivocally that Martin Delle is neither a campain member nor a financier of the NPP’s 2024 campaign. The NPP, a party known for its commitment to transparency and accountability, would never associate itself with an individual whose past is marred by controversy, especially one as significant as the DKM Microfinance scandal that affected thousands of Ghanaians.

The timing of Mahama’s accusations is telling. With the 2024 elections on the horizon, it appears that the former president is resorting to desperate measures in an attempt to discredit the NPP and divert attention from his own party’s shortcomings. By linking the NPP to Martin Delle, Mahama is trying to court public dissatisfaction with the ruling party, hoping to gain political mileage in the process.

However, the people of Ghana are not easily swayed by such tactics. They remember the leadership failures and economic mismanagement that characterized Mahama’s tenure as president. They recall the hardships they endured under his administration and the promises that were never fulfilled. As the 2024 elections approach, Ghanaians are looking for a leader who will build on the progress made by the current government, not one who seeks to return to power through unfounded accusations and scare tactics.

The first time ever in the life of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and the campaign team of the NPP having an encounter with Martin Delle was when Dr Bawumia visited Naa professor Edmund Delle Chiir V111, the paramount chief of Nandom, and Martin Delle, a royal and nephew of overlord, was at the Palace and was asked to present a smock to Dr Bawumia.

The former president assertion made in bono east region is untruth, lacks credibility and will not provide him any political gain.

The NPP remains focused on its mission to deliver on its promises to the people of Ghana. The party is committed to ensuring that the 2024 elections are conducted in a manner that is free, fair, and reflective of the will of the people. The NPP will not be distracted by the baseless accusations of a desperate opposition leader.

In conclusion, the people of Ghana are urged to ignore John Mahama’s attempts to court public dissatisfaction with the NPP. The allegations against Martin Delle and the NPP’s 2024 campaign are without merit and are merely a distraction from the real issues that matter to Ghanaians. The NPP remains steadfast in its commitment to good governance, economic growth, and the well-being of all Ghanaians.
