The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Chairman in Amenfi West, Mr. Obed Asamoa, has issued a stern warning to Hon. Eric Afful, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament, to cease his persistent attacks on their parliamentary candidate, as reported by (link unavailable)
Mr. Asamoa condemned Hon. Afful’s actions, stating that his constant criticism is unwarranted and unproductive. “We warn Hon. Afful to desist from personal attacks and focus on constructive campaigning. He should reclaim his lost identity instead of attacking our PC,” Chairman Asamoa emphasized.
The warning follows Hon. Afful’s recent attacks on local radio stations in the area, attributing unwanted behaviors to the PC, which were deemed misleading and unacceptable.
The NPP Constituency Chairman urged Hon. Afful to respect the electoral process and focus on selling his policies to the people. “We are committed to peaceful and issue-based campaigning. We will not engage in unnecessary banter or personal attacks,” Chairman Asamoa stated.
He added that the NPP is confident in their parliamentary candidate and their track record of development in Amenfi West. “We have delivered on our promises and will continue to do so. We urge Hon. Afful to focus on his campaign and stop attacking our candidate,” Chairman Asamoa said.
The NPP is determined to reclaim the Amenfi West seat and has urged its supporters to remain calm and focused on the issues.
