NDC POLLS: WNR DEPUTY COMMUNICATION OFFICER ASPIRANT CONGRATULATES WINNERS●Charges new constituency executives to work towards 2028 victory

Ackah Nelson Frank, an aspirant for the position of Deputy Regional Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western North Region and National President of the Ghana Association of Assembly Members (GAAM), has congratulated newly elected constituency executives of the party, urging them to work diligently towards securing victory in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking in an interview with the press, Mr Ackah congratulated the successful aspirants on their victories and commended all candidates who participated in the constituency-level elections across the Western North Region.

He urged the newly elected executives to regard their victories as a call to service and an opportunity to strengthen the party’s structures, particularly at the grassroots level, where effective mobilisation and engagement with supporters are essential.

According to him, the outcome of the constituency elections should mark the beginning of a renewed commitment to the party’s collective objectives, with all executives working together to consolidate the NDC’s support ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Mr Ackah also called on unsuccessful aspirants and their supporters to put their differences aside and rally behind the newly elected executives, stressing that unity and cooperation would be crucial to achieving the party’s electoral ambitions.

He emphasised that internal elections should not be allowed to create divisions among party members but should instead serve as a platform for strengthening democratic participation, building consensus and promoting a common purpose.

Drawing on his experience as National President of GAAM, Mr Ackah underscored the importance of inclusive leadership, effective communication and accountability in building strong political and community structures.

He further urged the new constituency executives to maintain close contact with grassroots supporters, listen to their concerns and communicate the party’s policies and programmes effectively to the electorate.

Mr Ackah encouraged party members across the nine constituencies in the Western North Region to remain committed to the NDC’s programmes and work collectively towards strengthening its presence in their respective communities ahead of the 2028 elections.

He concluded by congratulating the newly elected executives and wishing them success in their respective roles, urging them to demonstrate dedication, humility and unity as they work towards the party’s 2028 electoral objectives.
