AOWIN MCE COMMENDS LABOUR FORCE ON MAY DAY● Encourages unity and commitment to national growth

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Aowin, Hon. Stephen Ntow Morcher, has commended workers across the country, particularly those within the Aowin Municipality, for their hard work and dedication towards national development.

In a May Day message, Hon. Morcher praised the invaluable contributions of workers in various sectors, noting that their commitment continues to drive socio-economic growth in the municipality and the nation at large.

He acknowledged the sacrifices made by workers, especially in challenging economic conditions, and described their resilience and determination as key pillars for sustaining development efforts.

The MCE emphasised that the role of the labour force remains critical in achieving government’s development agenda, stressing that productivity and discipline must be upheld at all levels of work.

Hon. Morcher urged workers in the Aowin Municipality to remain united and focused, adding that unity in the workforce would foster peace, stability, and accelerated development.

He further called on workers to demonstrate a high sense of responsibility, professionalism, and commitment to duty in order to enhance efficiency in both the public and private sectors.

The MCE also highlighted the importance of collaboration between employers and employees, stating that mutual respect and cooperation were essential for improving working conditions and productivity.

He reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to supporting initiatives that promote job creation, skills development, and improved livelihoods for residents of the municipality.
