The former Ashanti regional chairman of the Convention Peoples Party, Mr. A. O Osei Yaw has said that, the President of the republic, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo can not rewrite the country’s history.
His statement follow the President controversial assertion that, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah isn’t the founder of the country.
He said that, Nana Addo Dankwah is deliberating deleting the former president name from the bix six and replace them with his grandparents, which will later have repercussions on the future generations.
He noted that, it’s rather unfortunate the Npp doesn’t respect the country’s history, however going round doing the bidding of their greedy Dombo- Busia families.
Adding to the story, he emphasized that, the founder’s day commemoration cannot be abolished as the Npp are seriously pushing…
“We only know of founder’s day, not founders day. Every community has a founder and this is same as Ghana. Nkrumah birthed Ghana and we won’t allow Nana Addo to rewrite the country’s history. We need to teach the future generations proper thing rather these usual rhetorics by the Npp”, he stated.
