Nana Kwame Baffoe IV, the Paramount Chief of the Nkoranza Traditional Area, and Nana Yaa Sarpomaa III, the Queen Mother, have officially confirmed Nana Ata Fosu Ababio, known in private life as Chief Inspector Owusu Kobi Moses, as the Asamanhene of the Nkoranza Traditional Council.
The confirmation ceremony was held on May 6, 2025, in a customary rite. During the ceremony, Nana Kwame Baffoe IV praised Nana Ata Fosu Ababio’s hard work and stewardship in the community.
The Paramount Chief expressed confidence in Nana Ata Fosu Ababio’s leadership abilities and advised the family to show him maximum respect. He warned that anyone who refuses to do so will face consequences.
Nana Kwame Baffoe IV charged Nana Ata Fosu Ababio to lead with diligence and work towards unifying his family. “I already know you can help your people, but I encourage you to continue to excel,” he stated.
The Paramount Chief further emphasized his support by saying, “I have officially endorsed you to my traditional council and to be part of my traditional leaders.” He urged Nana Ata Fosu Ababio to consult him for any information needed for his duties.
In response, Nana Ata Fosu Ababio expressed his gratitude to Nana Kwame Baffoe IV and Nana Yaa Sarpomaa III for the opportunity to serve in the traditional area. He pledged to work hard and fulfill the Paramount Chief’s expectations.
